Owner Approvals for Maintenance Requests

Modified on Fri, Apr 19 at 9:34 AM

A maintenance request that has been submitted by a tenant or created from the unit can be sent to the property owner for approval. You can add estimated costs and comments to give the owner more context on the work required to complete the request. To send a request for approval

  1. Find the request in the Open Requests table and click on it to view the details
  2. Clink on the three dot menu in the right corner of the request and select Owner Approval

  3. A pop up will ask you to enter estimated costs and notes. This information will be sent to the owner along with other request details such when the issue started the detailed description. The request will now show that you are waiting for owner approval and will be displayed under the Pending request table

Owners will get an email asking them to log into their portal account to approve or decline the request. They can also add comments that will appear on the request notes

After the owner has submitted their approval the request will be moved from the Pending table to the Open request table and will display an icon above the status to show that it has been approved or declined, along with the approval date stamp. Declined requests can be resubmitted for approval again if needed.
