How to Add an Owner in Propra

Follow these steps to add an owner to your Propra account:

1. Navigate to the Owners Section:
   In the side menu, click on Owners.

2. Add a New Owner:
   Click the Add Owner button located at the top right corner of the screen.

3. Enter the Owner’s Information:
   Provide the following details:

   • Name: Enter the full name(s) of the property owner(s). The owner record reflects the legal ownership title of the property or unit. If multiple people own the unit, add them all as the owner's name. 
   • Contact Information and Mailing Address: Use only one primary email. If additional emails are needed, add them in the "Additional Contact" section.
   • Financial Information and Preferred Payment Method: Input the owner’s payment preferences here.

4. Completion:
   Congratulations! You’ve successfully added an owner in Propra. You can now assign properties and management fees to their portfolio.

Owner Records in Propra

Owner records in Propra represent the legal title of ownership for a unit or property. For example, if a husband and wife own a property together, both names should be listed. If only the wife will be handling payments, set up Autopay with her bank credentials.

Once the owner is created, their record will include four main sections:

• Portfolio: Displays all assets owned by the owner, such as properties and units.
• Documents: Holds all relevant documents related to the owner, available for download and upload.
• Contact: Contains the owner's contact details, including email, phone number, and address.
• Financials: Shows outstanding transactions and payment history. You can also add charges from this section.

Note:
For condo unit owners, there may not be a management fee associated with their ownership.
