You can set up a Gmail filter so that anytime you receive an Interac e-Transfer email, it’s automatically forwarded to [email protected].

For the Professional plan

When the Interac email is sent to you you can have the emails forwarded to Propra to save a step!

Step 1: Add [email protected] as a Forwarding Address

  1. Open Gmail on your computer (filters can’t be fully set up in the mobile app).

  2. In the top right, click the ⚙️ gear icon → select See all settings.

  3. Go to the Forwarding and POP/IMAP tab.

  4. Under Forwarding, click Add a forwarding address.

  5. Enter [email protected] and click Next → Proceed → OK.

  6. Gmail will send a verification code to that address.

    • Let your Propra contact (or [email protected]) know a code was sent, and we’ll confirm it on our end.

  7. Once verified, return to the same settings page and refresh your Gmail tab.

Step 2: Create a Filter for Interac Emails

  1. In Gmail, click the search options icon (the small funnel icon in the search bar).

  2. In the From field, enter one or more of the following (depending on your bank):

(You can add multiple senders separated by OR, e.g., [email protected] OR [email protected])

  3. Click Create filter.

  4. Check the box Forward it to, and select [email protected] from the dropdown list.

  5. Click Create filter to save.

Step 3: Test Your Rule

Send or wait for an Interac e-Transfer email to arrive in your inbox. It should automatically forward to [email protected] within seconds.

✅ Notes

  • This setup only works for new emails received after the filter is created — older ones won’t forward automatically.

  • You can edit or delete the filter anytime under Settings → Filters and Blocked Addresses.
