Adding a New Property and Unit

Properties and units are at the core of how information is used and communicated within Propra. Follow the steps or watch the video below to learn how to enter new properties and create new units.

Here’s how to add a new building or property:

1. On the side menu, click Properties.

2. In the Properties menu, click Add Property located on the top right of the page.

3. Select the number of buildings. If you have a property with two towers are multiple street addresses for units, you'll most likely choose a number other than 1. Click Next.

4. Input the appropriate information including: property name, location, property type, and upload an image of the property. Click Next.
   Keep in mind - if a phone number is entered, this will be the primary contact number for this property. If left blank, the system automatically uses the phone number in your account settings as the primary number. 

5. Search for the applicable owner or create a new owner. Click Next.

6. The property wizard will pull all of the known units attached to the desired address.
   If the units do not show up simply click Add Unit. If the units that show up are undesired you can remove them by clicking the 'x' next to the predicted unit name, or select Create Units Later.
   To finish set up with the units listed, click Create Units.

Here’s how to add a unit to a property.

1. On the side menu, click Properties.

2. Choose the property where the unit is located.

3. Select Add Owner-Occupied Unit or if a different type of unit is being created, select the down arrow next to the button and select the type of unit you want to create: Rental Unit, Owner-Occupied Unit, Common Area, or Commercial Unit.

4. Click the button once the selection is made.

5. Enter the information about the unit (unit/ name number, square footage, number of bedrooms and bathrooms and any other additional information) and click Save.
