Owner Balance Sheet by Property

See an owner's balance sheet split into a column for each property, plus a total.

Written by Karyn Millar

The Owner Balance Sheet by Property shows the same information as the Owner Balance Sheet, but with a separate column for each property the owner has and a Total column.

Use it to see which property a balance belongs to when an owner has more than one.

How to run it

  1. Go to Accounting in the left-hand menu and click Reports.

  2. Under Income Statements and Balance Sheets, click Owner Balance Sheet by Property.

  3. Choose the Owner and check the End Date.

  4. Click Open. The report generates and opens in the report viewer.

Options

  • Owner — choose the owner. The report includes every property they own.

  • End Date — the date the balances are calculated as of. It defaults to the last day of the previous month.

Reading the report

Each account row shows the balance for each property, with the combined amount in the Total column.

Working with the report

  • Update Parameters — change the dates or filters and re-run the report without going back to the Reports page.
