Consolidated Income Statement

See total revenue, expenses and net income across every owner and property for a date range.

Written by Karyn Millar

The Consolidated Income Statement shows revenue, expenses and net income for your whole portfolio over a date range.

Use it to review portfolio performance for a month, quarter or year, and compare one period with another.

How to run it

  1. Go to Accounting in the left-hand menu and click Reports.

  2. Under Income Statements and Balance Sheets, click Consolidated Income Statement.

  3. Enter a Start Date and End Date, and choose any other options (below).

  4. Click Open. The report generates and opens in the report viewer.

Options

  • Start Date and End Date — the period the report covers.

  • Teams (optional) — limit the report to the properties in the teams you choose. Leave it blank to include everything.

  • Compare another period (optional) — adds a second column so you can compare two periods side by side.

Reading the report

Revenue accounts are listed first, then expenses, each with a total. The bottom line is Net Income (Loss): total revenue minus total expenses.

If you added a comparison period, each period gets its own column so you can spot changes at a glance.

Working with the report

  • Update Parameters — change the dates or filters and re-run the report without going back to the Reports page.

  • Export icons (top right) — download the report, for example to an Excel spreadsheet.

  • Print and download — use the print and download buttons in the viewer toolbar to save or print the PDF.

  • Property Income Statement — the same view for one property.
