The Consolidated Balance Sheet shows the financial position of your entire portfolio on a single date: total assets, liabilities and equity across every owner and property you manage.
Use it to check the overall health of the books at month end, confirm trust and bank balances, and review balances before an audit.
How to run it
Go to Accounting in the left-hand menu and click Reports.
Under Income Statements and Balance Sheets, click Consolidated Balance Sheet.
Choose your options (below).
Click Open. The report generates and opens in the report viewer.
Options
End Date — the date the balances are calculated as of. It defaults to the last day of the previous month.
Teams (optional) — limit the report to the properties in the teams you choose. Leave it blank to include everything.
Compare another period (optional) — adds a second column so you can compare two periods side by side.
When you click Compare another period, a second End Date appears. Enter the date you want to compare against.
Reading the report
The report lists each GL account under Assets (including Capital Reserve Assets), Liabilities and Equity, with totals for each section. Total Assets should equal Total Liabilities and Equity.
