Monthly Fees
The Lease & Unit Settings page allows you to create and manage monthly fees that can be added to leases in Propra.
These fees are applied on top of base rent and automatically included in monthly invoices.
Adding a Monthly Fee
To create a new monthly fee:
Once added, the fee will be available to select when creating a lease.
Editing or Deleting a Fee
Locate the fee in your list
Select the three-dot menu
Choose to edit or delete the fee

When creating a new lease:
You can add multiple monthly fees to a lease.
How Monthly Fees Work
Monthly fees are added on top of the base rent
They are automatically included in the monthly rent invoice
You can view these fees in the lease’s Financial tab
Mapping Fees to GL Accounts
To ensure fees are recorded correctly in accounting, you must map them to a GL account.
To do this:
Go to Accounting Settings
Select the Fees tab
Map each fee to the appropriate GL account
This determines where the transaction is recorded when payments are made.
