To set up a new bank account in Propra as an administrator for managing autopay:

  1. Navigate to Accounting > Tasks > Bank Reconciliation.

  1. From the task page, do not click on the main task directly. Instead, click on the three-dot menu and select Manage Groups.

  1. Create a group for the relevant operating account and select all associated properties.

  1. Once the group is created, go to Autopay > Settings > Link bank account.

5) Enter your Bank Details

6) Click Next

7) Click Start a new bank reconciliation group

8) Type your Group Name

9) Click Next

10) Select desired GL Account

11) Click "View All Owners/Properties"

12) Search for the owner name (you may need to select the Show All Owners/Properties button if you do not see your owner. This is because your owner/property may not have any transactions yet)

13) Click "Add Reconciliation Group and Bank"

Itโ€™s recommended to create a group for each physical bank account, associating all properties where you want funds deposited to that account, typically using the Operating Bank general ledger account. Note: Your Autopay functionality may not activate until your application is approved by Vopay, Propra's payment processing partner. Please ensure this approval process is completed to enable payments.

Autopay for Owners: Bank Information Setup

  1. Go to the Financial tab in the Propra application.

  2. Enter the owner's banking details as requested.

  3. Once the bank information is active and correctly entered, you'll see an "Autopay Enabled" status next to those details.

Owners need to ensure all their information is up to date to enable smooth payouts.

Repeat this process for other accounts as needed, such as Security Deposit or Property Management accounts.
