When adding a new property, it is important to start off with the correct balances. Receivables and Payables should have a transaction for each tenant or supplier to make sure you can accurately tracked what money is owed. The import feature has an example csv file you can download make sure you are importing the correct fields.

Importing Balances:

  1. From the Tasks page click on Import

  2. Select Opening Balances and the property the balances are for

  3. Click upload documents to import the completed csv file

  4. Review the balances that will up uploaded. Any fields that couldn't find an exact match to what you had in the csv file will be blank. Where there is missing information double click on that line to edit. Required fields are: Date, Account and Amount.

  5. Click Post to finish uploading the balances.
