Adding other monthly fees on a condo unit or a lease

When you want to add additional monthly fees onto a condo unit or lease

  1. Go to Settings > Account

  2. Go to the Lease and Unit tab

  3. Under monthly fees select Add Monthly Fee

  4. This will allow you to create the monthly fee name

  5. Once you have a fee you will need to map the account for the fee. Go to Settings > Account > Accounting and select Fee Mapping. Select the appropriate account. (If you do not have your desired account listed you may have to create a new general ledger in your chart of accounts)

Adding the fee to your condo unit:


For condo unit owners that are charged fees outside of the set base condo fees (eg. parking or storage) you can add monthly fees onto the condo fee for that unit. The monthly fees can be mapped to independent accounts in accounting.

  1. On the side menu, click Properties.

  2. Choose the property where the unit is located.

  3. Select the unit.

  4. Click on the kabob menu

    and select edit

  5. Click ADD FEE

  6. Select the fee type and enter an amount. You may add up to 5 fees types

  7. Click Save

You can find the unit fees by creating a Property Unit Fees Report

  1. Go to Accounting > Reports > Property Unit Fees

  2. Select your property and date to run the report

Adding the fee to your lease:

  1. When creating your lease, from the rent amount page, select the drop down for Monthly Fees

  2. Select the monthly fees you wish to add

  3. Enter the amount for the fees

  4. Click Finish

  5. Each month these fees will be added to the posted rent roll

You can find the monthly fees by going to the Lease Financial page


If you need to add monthly fees after creating a lease go to the lease and select Manage Terms and Fees. Click through the pages until you get to the Financial Details page and then add the monthly fee. Continue to click through until you have Finished the lease update.
