What can a Books Advanced user do?
Books Advanced users can:
Complete accounting tasks
Perform bank reconciliations
Make edits to accounting entries
Review and manage accounting transactions
Approve charges, deposits, Autopay transactions, Scans
Access accounting information and financial records
Complete most day-to-day accounting functions
What can't a Books Advanced user do?
Books Advanced users cannot access or edit the following:
Financial Settings
Payroll Expense and Liability Accounts
Chart of Accounts (cannot edit)
Autopay Settings
These restrictions help keep sensitive financial and system-wide configurations limited to users with the appropriate level of access.
Who should have Books Advanced access?
Books Advanced is a good fit for senior accounting staff, bookkeepers, or other experienced accounting users who need broad access to complete accounting work but do not need to manage Propra's financial configuration.
If a user needs to manage the Chart of Accounts, Autopay Settings, Financial Settings, or other restricted financial configurations, they will need a higher level of accounting access.
