Why isn’t my management fee task working?

If your management fee task isn’t creating a fee, here are the most common things to check:

1. Check your financial settings

Go to Financial Settings and confirm how management fees are charged.
If your fees are set to be charged on revenue collected, the system will only create a management fee after invoices are marked as collected.

👉 If invoices haven’t been posted as collected yet, no management fee will be created.

2. Confirm invoices are marked as collected

If this month’s rent or charges haven’t been recorded as collected, the management fee task will not run.

3. Make sure the fee hasn’t already been charged

Check whether you or someone on your team has already charged the management fee for the month.
The system will not create a duplicate fee.

4. Double-check the task timing

Management fee tasks run based on your configured schedule. If the task was triggered before revenue was collected, it may not generate a fee.
